Infiniti 46 – Maverick 2015
Infiniti, with its self-developed Dynamic Stability System (DSS), had brought a new breath to the industry by introducing a special wing design that increased stability and reduced wetted surface area in sailing yachts. DSS, an unconventional application, claimed that it would greatly enhance the speed of sailing yachts with its advantages, but it had yet to prove itself on a platform other than its initial prototype.
As CSC Composites, we completed the construction of the Infiniti 46, including the molds, in a period of approximately 8 months. The Infiniti 46, with its canting keel and wings, became a groundbreaking project that made waves in the international sailing community as one of the most radical and high-speed boats of its time.
