Bolt 37 2013-2014
The Bolt37 project was created to bring the excitement and thrill of grand prix racing to handicap systems worldwide, with relatively lower operating budgets.
Ker Design, responsible for the design and engineering, utilized CFD simulations to create a boat that would deliver the best performance in desired wind conditions. The boat was designed with a modern deck and rigging, ahead of its time.
As CSC Composites, we brought the Bolt37 project to life in a relatively fast process for the industry. We completed the production of all the necessary molds and three boats in a period of 12 months and delivered them to our customers. Subsequently, we exported the 5th Bolt37 to San Diego, USA. The boat, named Valkyrie, achieved significant victories in important races on the west coast of the United States.
