Sydney 43 Keel
A Sydney 43 performance racing/cruising yacht was designed by Ker Design and manufactured by Salona Shipyard. An American owner of a Sydney 43 decided to make a series of modifications to enhance the performance of his yacht. The most significant of these modifications was the keel fin, which was produced by our company. The keel is made of steel AISI4340, with a tensile strength of over 1100MPa, and it possesses excellent mechanical properties as a result of special heat treatments. The keel was sent to NYC/USA
